Horseman's Choice insulated water bucket works. Can't remember which horse catalog I found it in, but the number on the front of the bucket insulator is 800-447-2751.

How do you keep your horse's water from freezing solid?

could you rig up a way to nsulated your horse's bucket? i know you can
buy insulated  thermal buckets for stalls.  you could bring some water
into your LQ to keep it warm and offer your horse the water in the AM.

when i'm camping and it's going to be cold, I lay a heavy blanket on
my tanks, don't know if it helped...but they didn't freeze. raven
