Wait a minute! Does that mean that if you have had breast cancer that you
need to get rid of all extra adipose tissue PDQ? Do you have to choose
between a re-occurance of the cancer or osteoporosis?

The key word is "all" here. Risk of breast cancer goes up with
significant obesity. I suspect that the amount of fat that has a salutary
effect on bone is much less than the amount that aggravates breast cancer.
Some one will have to do a study look at the difference between estrogen
receptors on bone cells vs. breast cells and what the ideal amount of good
fat is. Someone will have to volunteer to get very fat for this study.
And I just heard that the new studies regarding fat in the diet are showing that high fat "consumption" does not
increase the risk of breast cancer or heart disease as previously thought.
And, does anyone know how I can make my email message quit making loooong lines before automatically ging to the next line. I have a sore finger and typing is difficult, so I think I accidentally hit a button to change the "wrap" (Ithink that's what it's called) feature, now I don't know how to fix it!!
