Re: [RC] Bitless Bridle - Stephanie E CaldwellYou might try a sidepull. My guys had the same reaction to a bitless that Angie's did. But, a Sidepull is much simpler. The only issues I've ever had with it were rubbing on the nose. I haven't done endurance, but did gallop out alot this summer with my cross country trainer in it and had no trouble. The horse rated as easily in that as his happy mouth french link. (He's really easy to rate!) Steph rides2far@xxxxxxxx wrote: I borrowed one and none of mine liked it. It was nothing like a halter type reaction...more like lots of leverage. They wanted to lift their nose up to avoid the pressure under their jaw. The directions tell you to adjust the noseband really snug...tighter than would be comfortable for chewing, like it would rub so that sort of turned me off too. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
