Well, I don't dispute the fact that it is a great learning tool, but how do 
the vets have the time to sift through 50+ LD riders?  Or am I making too 
much of this?  Is it easier than it sounds?


First of all, if you use the AERC system, it's only 10 riders.  And it
is those who ride more quickly who NEED the education, so I fail to see
the objections of using the AERC system.

And yes, you are making WAY too much of this.  I did one LD where I was
expected to do ALL the LD entrants, and that DID run into some time,
since there were 70-80 of them.  But it was not out of the question. 
But to do 10??  The vets are there anyway, and it just isn't that big a
deal.
