RE: [RC] [RC] Easyboot Bare ? - Terry BanisterSince the EasyBoot Bares shipment is delayed, you might consider the Epics. They work just as well, and I think they are available now. In fact, the Epics have one advantage, in that they are more quickly adjustable by the buckle and cable, and can be used on a hoof that is one size smaller, which makes it a good spare tire if you are only packing one boot on saddle. The Bares are adjustable, but it is a one-time adjustment with a screwdriver to fit the particular hooves. The bungee provides the flex and pressure that keeps the boot on. I have mixed these boots on races with no problem. I just rode a 50 with three Bares and an Epic, and we finished 12th.
