I was expressing an opinion - and that opinion is that malicious 
killing of animals is on the path to murder of humans.  True, some of 
those who start on that path never get all the way to the end, but I 
believe they *are* on the path and should be treated in the eyes of 
the law accordingly.  We have degrees of seriousness for murder, and 
I believe that animal abuse should be included in that category of crime.
