Re: [RC] shavings vs rice hulls - indiancpanybody tried the woody pet? it's saw dust pressed into small pellets. you're supposed to wet them down which turns them to sawdust but i use them as is. love them but i do like to put one bag of shavings on top (12 x 12 stalls). the pellets will turn to saw dust as they get wet and absorb wonderfully. they'll last a looong time unless a horse is stalled 24 hours a day. here they are a dollar a bag more than shavings (and weigh only thirty pounds a bag) but in the end you come out better money wise.patty in georgia Man does not have the only memory, The animals remember, The earth remembers, The stones remember, If you know how to listen, they will tell you many things.
