[RC] Rice Hulls vs. Shavings - Ridecamp Guest

Had the same experience as another poster, the rice hulls don't
absorb at all, lakes of urine.  I have found the wood pellets
like ABM or Woody Pet to be the most economical and easiest
to clean for my situation.  I have mats over decomposed granite.
Remember the deeper you bed the easier it is to clean and 
actually the most economical because the manure doesn't get
ground in.  With the pellet bedding I will take out the 
wettest area and then mix in the "damp stuff" with the dry
bedding.  Nope doesn't smell.  If it gets too dusty I just
hose it down.
