Re: [RC] cribbing - Laney HumphreyI think it would depend on how bad a cribber he is. Does he have a history of colic, which can be caused by cribbing? How about wear on his teeth? Overdevelopment of lower neck muscles? Would you be able to give him lots of turnout or possibly permanent pasture if he's always been stalled. I'm thinking that a change in lifestyle to life as a trail horse and with more natural living arrangements might "cure" the cribbing. No guarantee that it would but I'm not sure cribbing in itself should be a deal breaker unless the cribbing is really bad and has caused problems.Laney Ridecamp Guest wrote: Please Reply to: laurie janz ljanz@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx or ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ========================================== =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
