Why would you accept as expert, the opinion of an "expert" whose opinion is not actually the opinion of an expert? Just get on that horse, ride and train it with due diligence, making sure to have fun along the way, and see what happens. Virtually every type and breed of horse has hit the endurance trail at one time or another, from draft breeds to Icelandics, and everything in between. You'll do fine, or at least have fun trying. Consider your bubble re-inflated. Bruce Weary
