Re: [RC] South NV road info - rides2farEd, When I did a ride in AZ last year I ran into an old friend Wynne Brown who was at the ride working on a book she was writing on AZ trails. She's an endurance rider and would know what sorts of things matter to us. If you're planning a horse trip there you might want to contact her. The book is published now. You can reach her at wynnebrown@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Angie On Sun, 31 Dec 2006 14:28:14 -0700 "Sisu West Ranch" <ranch@xxxxxxxxxxx> writes: Last year we were planing a trip to AZ for Feb. We did not take it, but are finalizing the plans right now for this year. I received lots of good info on roads etc. and have narrowed things down to a couple of good routes. Now I find that I have a pretty specific question: I am considering taking US 95 S from Las Vagas and then turning East on NV 163 to Laughlin/Bullhead City and then on 68 to Kingman. 163 looks like a straight, deserted desert road with no problems for pulling a LQ and 4 horses. If anyone has taken that road and knows for sure please email me. You probably should go private to keep the list clear.
