[RC] multi day rides Santa Fe ride etc. - Tx Trigger
Just as folks will tell you what works at home on a
training ride, maybe not work on a full 50 mile ride, what works on a 50 mile
ride, may not work on a multi day ride where you go day after day. This can be
horse equipment, rider attire etc. Multi day rides are a whole different
aspect of endurance riding. I fear many will attempt the Great Santa Fe
after hearing about it in a magazine or newspaper article ride thinking it
sounds like a great adventure, and not seek information before hand like Suzanne
is doing. Then find themselves very frustrated when after a couple days
riding, they find they just can not continue, and have to head home, with maybe
a less than favorable opinion of endurance riding in general.
