Carousel tights are very popular. LOVE mine! You
can order them with any amount of padding (I highly recommend), any color, any
length. Expect to pay between $65-100 for good tights. Its an investment you
won't regret after many hours. I've noticed a HUGE difference between padded
(seat and knees) tights and non padded tights thru a 50 mile ride. The padded
ones helped much more especially in those "delicate"
places in your seat area. ;-) Saddle bums are great and last forever. They have
so much padding in the seat you will never get sore there. It will feel like a
diaper at first but you won't regret the padding at about mile 40. Just
remember, almost ALL endurance people who will be at the Santa Fe ride will have
tights on too. You will be in good company.
