[RC] TOP TEN - NormanjudyvDon,t know what it,s like now but back in the day when I rode a few 100s the ride strategy for most of the top ten riders was GO FAST all the time no matter what, heat, mud, rain, rocks, steep, flat, sand. The horses were ribby and had sore backs. A few unlucky horses lasted a REALLY long time, most didn,t. Hope things have changed. Old Has Been, jvm
