Re: [RC] Lameness question - rides2farI have a ten year old gelding who has had a problem with arthritis for the last year and a half or so. Unfortunately, he also has a back problem and the specialist who saw him said that a "gait aberration" would cause his back to go out. Had a friend who's very good endurance horse had sore hocks and his back went into spasm. The vet injected the hocks, then treated the back with a TENS unit and he came back. Once he quit having to guard his hocks with his back muscles the back stayed fixed.
