Re: [RC] Silver Star frame/bracing... what gives?!?!? - Mike LewisUpon inspection today in DAYLIGHT, I see that the flooring is braced about every 6 inches. Simple bracing method, no big deal. I'm just wondering why this was chosen over a more conventional method that might allow for tank installation. Guess the trailer will have to go back to Silver Star to have a proper floor done to handle the tanks...? Might as well upgrade axles and brakes while its there (the cash register in my head just went, "cha-ching...") The bottom of the trailer, beneath all the flooring, doesn't have crossmembers in the traditional sense. Silver Star used some other method of bracing the floor. Not sure how to describe it, but I see no possible way to mount a black water tank under the trailer between frame supports. Anyone run into this before? Can anyone explain what Silver Star did, why they did it, and how we Silver Star owners can work around it when building full LQ into our trailers?
