My panels are very old commercial units. I use the ORBIT batteries with a SUN SOLAR controller - on ebay. I have all three in parallel but I think I will add a bank-switch to leave one on and disconnect the other two when not using or charging. I have a manual disconnect switch at the truck battery to charge while going down the road. I have not obtained the super long use I expected, that is they run down faster then I think they should.I use a Honda 2000iu generator during the day when needed. Very very quite. Yeah I know I spelled "CHRISTMASS" wrong :) Been doing a good bit of general trail-riding here. Had cataract eye surgery on both -- sure is bright out. A bit sensitive yet, but doing well. Lastly we let our old 34 yr horse ZAR move on, he had many issues. Had him for 31 plus years. Did my first 50 miler on him, Carol did the OD100 (Leesburg VA). He had many miles not all in the records. Many ECTRA rides one,two and 3 day. Plus many party weekend rides. He was Carol's main horse for about 20 years.
