I really have no idea what color combination Joe had in mind, as it was his 
idea in the first place, if you will remember.  It's just that whoever 
mentioned a short skirt...well, I think men look terrific in a kilt, 
providing they have good legs like Lud does.  And from what I've heard about 
kilts, I wouldn't want Joe to catch a chill.
Really...once at a Halloween party here in the neighborhood, Lud put on one 
of the three kilts I made many years ago, some knee socks, a tam, and threw 
a plaid wool lap robe over his shoulder.  He also wore a kilt pin shaped 
like a thistle.  Boy, did he look sharp!  A guy has to have the legs for a 
kilt, though.
