Re: [RC] Bees get a bad rap?? - Chelsea MarshGreat, now I'm going to be paranoid every time I go to put on my helmet! That does not sound like it felt too great. I've never been stung by anything yet (whether it's a bee...wasp...scorpion)though I've been around plenty. It's probably going to happen anytime now! My dad had always told me that if you are going riding horses, you are going to fall off at least once. So after I fell off the first time I figured I was good for life! Umm...it didn't quite work out that way! Hmm....does that same rule apply to being stung by something? It's going to happen at least once? Oh well, I'd rather be stung by a scorpion (or a bee or wasp) than get bit by a rattle snake. The joys of Arizona! Barbara !!! I read this and hurt for you !!! Elaine I had another unpleasant experience at an after-ride steak BBQ. I put a bite of steak into my mouth and immediately felt a sharp pain. A YJ was still attached to the steak. It hurt, and my tongue swelled and became numb, but it did not block my breathing as a couple of worried riders sitting next to me thought might happen.
