I have an older brood mare (not breeding ever again) who I still trail 
ride with once in a while.  TWH 18 year old.  Prime candidate for having 
the bad confirmation to warrant Caslicks.
I've thought I was doing her an injustice by NOT doing Caslicks on her 
because I had been told she probably gets recurring infections since the 
manure undoubtedly is running down etc etc.

Were they telling me correctly?  I don't ever see her behave or 
physically seem different but how different would she behave even if she 
had a fever/infection?  Never off her food or sluggish.
