Oh you betcha.

Daughter that lives out of State called me last night.  After talking to me 
for a while, she said "you haven't been riding for a while, have you?"  The 
answer was no.  So, yes, even my family can tell.

Even if I just spend time with the horses, cleaning, feeding, what ever. 
There is nothing so relaxing as listening to the horses munch.

And talk about cost effective!
