haven't seen anyone bite on 20 Mule team so here goes. Those of us old
enough to remember commercials of the 60's - boraxo was a cleaner made from
borax and used as their trademark a twenty mule team pulling a wagon.
These were the 20 mule teams that pulled the wagons loaded with borax out of the
mines in death valley. The ride is located in Ridgecrest, Ca on the edge of
Death Valley.
As I
was cleaning out my mother's house last weekend in preparation for selling it, I
came across a box that had "20 Mule Team" written on the outside. Inside,
still wrapped in the original plastic, was a set of 20 1`" tall mules and their
wagon. It must be about 50 years old.
