Re: [RC] Black Water Boogie!!!! - Karen Sullivan----- Original Message ----- From: <rides2far@xxxxxxxx> I don't know why sooo many people have a problem with generators.., I believe I read that a generator produces as much Carbon Monoxide as 7 idling cars.........Surely you can handle 4 hours or so without your umbilical cord hooked up to civilization. Angie I got to agree with Angie 100%. I believe there are two categories of people, those who need and prefer dark and quiet to get sleep; and those who can sleep through rock concerts, earthquakes, dogs barking and heavy traffic. I often wish I was more of that later sort, but I'm not. And yes, I don't expect the world to be quiet for me, and have also resorted to earplugs.....but darn, if somebody can't take a camping trip without a generator, and break the rules to boot, and have no consideration for others, I say stay home.. Frankly, I don't understand why one is essential....what does a generator power that you can't live without? I have a small LQ in my trailer, and have lights, propane burners, AND heat. Everything and more than I really need. AC? come on, if you require AC on a camping trip, maybe you should just stay home!
