The way you addressed Ride camp with your first letter and the way it was
worded is what caused the problem. It was inflammatory und misleading. I had
already talked to Michelle on Sunday morning and heard the details. Most people
do not know this about Michelle, but she can paint a very clear picture when she
describes things. We have a great talent for understanding what the other is
seeing during our conversations.
You made it sound as if Paula came up to Michelle at 2 a.m. and said
something about the generator and Michelle attacked her and beat her up. And
that, because of the attack she was unable to ride. Yes the whole ordeal is
disturbing most of all it is sad, very sad..............
It was not Paula's place to address Michelle from the get go, she should
have advised the ride management, after all they get paid the big bucks. It was
also not your place to say something to her on the trail. And yes by that time I
am very sure that Michelle was tired of the whole deal and having it mentioned
again was most likely like foil on your fillings. Michelle has also said that
Paula was yelling at her on the trail near the finish line area. That it
what bothered Michelle the most. That was the point of discussion at the time of
the alleged incident. No one wants someone else telling or yelling at them what
to do, or reiterate rules to them. And the mater is still, Michelle says Paula
put her hands on her first and you have stated that Michelle attacked Paula
first. That is the issue.
It is not for you or me to decide and it is most definitely not for you to
air to ride camp making everyone think things that cannot be verified. You
placed your commentary on line for everyone to read, but since you did it
is my right to reply in turn. And it has nothing to do with the fact that I was
not present during the incident, you did not see it either! So get over
it...........unless you looked in your crystal ball and saw it with your own two
eyes, your information is as viable as mine.
If you are going to stick your nose in, don't get so pissed when I stick
mine in. I have rights and so does Michelle. You are not the sole anointed one
with all the rights and privy to all that goes on. Everyone break
rules.........your dogs run free all the time, they crap and pee in peoples
areas and wondering gin the horse pens. Just because they are small does not
make it ok. I have 6 dogs, 3 labs that are over 100 pounds and 3 hunting
dogs. They would love to come to the forest and run free for the weekend, but it
is not right. When you are 100% following the rules then please jump on your
soap box and start to preach. Pull the weeds in your own yard before you point
out others.
