RE: [RC] [RC] Freeform Saddles - Ranelle RubinDrin,The "dip" in her back may be where the western saddle ends and a result of muscle atrophy. If that is the case, I suggest she learn some reflexive exercises to help her horse regain muscle tone in that area and get a new saddle. She may even want to have the horse looked at by an equine chiropractor. If you have ever seen the way the FreeForm saddles are made as well as how they fit, you would see that it would be difficult for it NOT to fit any horse. The only question she will have to ask, and figure out is if she wants a classic or an SB. I have an SB for me, and a classic with two different seat sizes for my back up horse. My primary horse has a very short back and I am 5'2", and a LW rider, so the SB works well. The dissadvantage to the SB is two fold: It has a smaller weight distribution area, and can only go up to a 17" seat size. The classic is able to use a 17",18", or 19" seat size. For demo purposes I have a 17" and 18" to use on the classic I have. She is welcome to contact me privately to talk more about it.
