[RC] Vet Question-Biotin recommendation - Sunnyland
In an article by Oscar Swanstrom,
DVM, MS (2005 Int'l Equine Vet. Hall of Fame and Int'l Horseshoeing Hall of
Fame) in Thoroughbred Times, Mar 25, 2006 he said horses need 100mg of biotin
per day plus a couple of grams of L-methionine. It seems I remember
research discussed on ridecamp (a couple of years back) indicating
that15mg per day does the job. Maybe
the 100mg recommendation is based on newer research. Anyone
