RE: [RC] Quarter Horse bloodlines in endurance - Peery, Sandra
Hey,
Finally found my pin to research the database.
You can find Wendy Mancini's QH Old Meadow Jim's pedigree at http://filebox.vt.edu/users/speery/Old%20Meadow%20Jim%202014812%201983%20bay%20gelding.doc. The tevis site said that a QH mare had completed the most times; the name listed for that horse is Thunders Lighting Bar but I couldn't find her in AQHAs database and technically that name is more then 20 characters long(including spaces), which is the maximum length for a registered name in AQHA. So, either the name is off or she was never registered or she might be a grade.

Just curious, does anyone know what QH bloodlines have proven to be successful in endurance riding? Does anyone know the bloodlines of Wendy Mancini’s QH? I thought I read recently that a quarter horse holds the all times Tevis completions?
