Now THAT is cause for hanging by the toenails!  :-))  Ride managers who like 
to do results for post-ride mailing, prefer cards that have readable 
statistics.  Chelsea, carry a nice little plastic freezer bag (more heavy 
duty than sandwich bags) and tuck your card into it during the ride.  Also, 
carry it in a zippered pocket of your windbreaker, or in a secure pocket on 
your saddle bags (whatever kind you use.)  Someone once carried theirs in 
their half-chaps and between sweat and water, well....that didn't work.
