Re: [RC] My first endurance ride - Barbara McCraryMy experience shows that most people of whom we ask questions, and those who know the answers, are flattered to pieces to be able to share their knowledge with the ones who need educating. So, far from endurance riders being aloof, I have found them happy to share knowledge. And they are kind enough not to look at the newbie as "dumb", just not yet experienced. We have all been through a learning curve in endurance riding, and it all comes back when someone asks a question. I always remember the really uninformed things I did when I first started, 35 years ago.Barbara "It's not the miles, it's the years" ----- Original Message ----- From: "k s swigart" <katswig@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, November 29, 2006 10:47 AM Subject: [RC] My first endurance ride Kate said: =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
