Re: [RC] Humor me.... - Barbara McCraryCotton-lycra tights; wind pants over them if it's windy, lightweight rain pants over them if it's raining; Polypropylene T-neck if it's cold, with vest over that and windbreaker over both (shed layers as it heats up) or rain-jacket of the same set as the pants; half-chaps on legs; Ariat Performer or Ariat Terrains on feet; Polypropylene socks if it's cold, padded sole walking socks if it's not cold; helmet on head (always!); hood of windbreaker over helmet if it's windy; dark glasses if you're light-sensitive; one soft paper towel (I prefer Viva) for blowing nose and one for "other" uses; lip balm (critical!) That's about all I can think of at the moment.Barbara ----- Original Message ----- From: "Chelsea Marsh" <chelsea_marsh@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: <ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, November 28, 2006 8:50 PM Subject: [RC] Humor me.... What do you guys wear at an endurance ride? I realize it's probably going to differ for each person, and that also it's a matter of what's comfortable to YOU, but give me some ideas of what you guys find comfortable. Also, what did you guys wish you'd brought for your first ride, and what could you of left behind? -- Chelsea Marsh chelsea_marsh@xxxxxxxxxxx =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
