There's a number of rides in December - starting with 4 on 
December 2 and a few more by mid December.

For those of you planning to attend a ride in December - remember 
that your dues *have* to be paid before the ride or you will be 
charged a $15 non-refundable day member fee.

Our software checks for this and the ride manager will get billed
if a rider says they are renewed and are really not 2007 members
yet. Renewing on Dec 4 for the Dec 2 ride will not change the need 
for the day member fee.

In either case, the office does not process them immediately as
there are a large number of renewals coming to the office now.

If you do not have your 2007 card in your hand before the
ride - I suggest that you get an email from the office stating
that you have paid to show the ride manager at check-in.

I believe that you can also join at the ride if you pay your
renewal with a check, fill out the complete renewal form, and the 
ride manager sends it in with the results.  The ride manager may 
not have the form so plan to take one with you if you are joining 
at the ride.
