Thanks, Diane, for the great explanation of shivering. I’ve
seen the horses shiver on very cold and wet days, but it doesn’t usually
last too long. I think my vet had told me to watch our old POA (somewhere
between 23 & 28 yrs old) and cover her only if she shivered for over an
hour (or was it 2?) It was a few years ago so I don’t remember exactly,
only that I never had to cover her.
