[RC] suitability of bloodlines for endurance - Sabino Arabians

Since the Datasource seems to have quit putting the AERC information on
their site, it has gotten difficult to research the suitability of specific
lines for endurance. We recently purchased a mare based solely on her looks
and disposition as a "suitable for endurance" prospect. She is a good medium
height at about 15 hands, with moderate to heavy bone and a nice deep
heart-girth. We have started round-penning her to build up to getting her
under saddle and out on the trail this coming year, and have noticed an
almost unreasonable "spook" response to being pushed. We are hoping that
this is something that we can work through and get beyond, but were
wondering how other horses with her lines have done in endurance? Her
pedigree is at http://www.elementsarabians.com/angelpedigree.html - which
has no photos or anything, so is an easy-to-view page. :) We DO have photos
of her as well at http://www.elementsarabians.com/angel.html for those who
would like to see. Any input from people who have horses from these lines
competing would be appreciated. If she herself does not turn out to be
suitable, we might try breeding her to our older stallion who has at least
one foal out on the endurance trail who is doing extremely well! :)
