[RC] Trailing Alone - or Just Trailering - Peggy B-Smith

One of the most essential items to have in your trailer tack room or on your truck, is a Trailer Aid. That is a "thing" you can drive up on when you get a flat - and you will, eventually - so you can change a tire without a jack and without removing your horses from the trailer.
I got a flat on the way to Bryce this year - 100+ degrees north of Baker. With my two trusty traveling companions, Heather & Lynette, we had that tire changed in 10 minutes. Loosen the lug nuts on flat tire, drive up on the Trailer Aide, change, drive off, tighten lugs.  Next stop pit crew at NASCAR!
