[RC] Requirements in Question? - Christy Adame

Has anyone looked at the statistics of those horse/rider teams who nominated & were accepted as opposed to those teams that weren't accepted? What is the average? What are the chances of making the team?

Was the criteria lowered (to 50s) because there just aren't enough applicants?

Honestly, for me participating (or being able to nominate at all!) would be the "dream job." Unfortunately, considering going through the whole process, much less trying to complete a 100 in the next 6 months or a year is ridiculous.

I agree, but in our current system we "reward" the winner of the race, not the expierence, the 2500 mile horses, or the Carl Lewis'. Seems the rules and riders goals only reflect the current system's mindset.
