He
could have sharp edges that are making it very hard for him to eat.

Hi ridecampers
I am hoping that
someone can help answer my question regarding my 4yr old arab gelding, I just
got him about 5 months ago and he is thin so I’m feeding him beep pulp,
rice bran, safe choice and fast track. So he has put on some weight but not
much, Anyways he seems to develop a lot of saliva than it drools out of his
mouth, it seems to happen a lot more when he is round pen, lunged, or ridden
(no bit). I’m wondering if this is normal I’ve seen horses in
dressage or show ring that do this and people say that the horse like the bit,
well I’m not using any bit he just does it all the time even in pasture,
so should I be concern about this or is this normal. Thanks for any info
Sincerely
Teena Padilla
