Well, we already did that. I sent an e-mail
to the list in September, with the address of where to write.
The Content Analysis Group did get a lot of letters. And there
was a response to the list, from Beth Boyst, who assured me, and the list, that
there was no attempt to try to close the trails to horse use. But I am
still not 100% convinced about that, and this is an opportunity to attend a
meeting, face to face, with USFS reps, to speak up about our point of
view. Hopefully, we'll have a report on what happens, for anyone who's
interested.
What might help here is to get us all the names and addresses of the
movers and shakers of this movement. Names and address preferably email
to send letters over the next two days to their offices, from all over the
country, to let them know where horse people stand on this issue!
