Re: [RC] [RC] A Question for the guys on RC - Juli JakubYes they do!! I am only 29 and my husband is a gem and we are only 9 days apart! He had never had horses or animals for that matter. We now have three horses and he has a new one coming this Saturday to put us at our limit of four!! We also have two dogs and two ferrets. He is always ready to work around the barn, build fence, and just sit and watch them eat. He is very handy and helped me refurbish an old barn for the horses at one point in the Adirondack style..it looked awesome! He is also a big snowboarder so in the off winter season here of lots of negative degree days we snowboard together alot even though he is much much better than me. The only thing I have yet to figure out is how to get him to clean tack....I got him a zilco bridle and he loves that because he can just dunk it...but his leather Freeform saddle...that is another story!! But he supports me in my journey to do endurance and in fact the new horse is coming because he thinks he wants to do it with me and his little pony mustang although the awesomest guy ever is just not really cut out for endurance I think. To him endurance is eating without stopping for as long as possible. I think he could do a 25 but after that probably not...he also cannot keep up with my Morab at all..he is short and chunky and she covers ground like a MoFo...so we got him a Morab gelding that is also motivated and has a huge stride so he may be able to ride more with me instead of ten miles behind!! But they are still out there...you just have to be patient...I dated alot of...not so great guys...okay jerks to be honest both in the horse world and out before I met Zack! ( did I mention he is handsome and a musician to boot...serenades me on flute, saxophone, or clarinet when I am feeling blue!)
