RE: [RC] A Question for the guys on RC - rides2far@xxxxxxxxIt's why she put me on a horse the 2nd date - it was to see if there would be a 3rd date 8-) Took Bill out on a horse our *first* date. >g< I didn't have a spare gentle horse but a guy who I'd dated a few times asked me to go riding, then called and had to cancel because he was sick. I said, "Man, I *really* wanted to ride today. Would you mind if I borrowed your horse for a friend to ride?" I still feel guilty about doing that to him. >g< His horse was even missing a shoe and I slapped an easyboot on and took him anyway. Once I saw Bill handled that horse OK I was able to put him on my dad's off the track mare after that. :-) However, I still rate him higher for enjoying camping, hauling water, standing at the intimer holding blankets, hanging around camp, cooking on a fire, and taking videos! Cuts down on the entry fees, shoes, feed, etc. and helps out with the ride.
