Re: [RC] [RC] What is a "reasonable pace"? - Maureen A. FagerSusan,If your going to ride endurance in Nevada you must do some hill work, you just can't ride on the flats. Many of the Nevada rides have very big hills, so you need to prepare for them in training. Start at walk and work up to being able to trot some up hill. Another good idea is be sure the horse can be lead downhill. Lots of steep downhills too. Good luck! Cheers, Maureen My moto: No bones to fix in '06! Everybody has a mountain to climb. Everbody has a wilderness inside. ....Laurence Gonzales _________________________________________________________________ Use your PC to make calls at very low rates https://voiceoam.pcs.v2s.live.com/partnerredirect.aspx =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
