Re: [RC] Angie's Book - rides2farYou can go to the website at http://www.lightersideofendurance.com If you're like me and not very good at buying on-line, there's a phone number on there. I requested that. >G< Just a note to any of you who are reading it. If your moms happen to read any of it and would like to send a word of encouragement to *my* mom, feel free. I've been in trouble ever since she got her copy. She's all pitiful saying "I'm always the bad guy". I said, "Mama, you're not wanting me to go to a ride in *tornadoes* in that story. That's *normal*! But I feel bad for her. I warned her ahead of time that she sort of represents "all our moms" since she's probably saying the same thing the rest of ya's moms are saying to you. Unfortunately, I tend to write what she's said verbatim (yes, every time we mention my articles she encourages me to write a joke for Reader's Digest and get $250). The only thing that has perked her up was when the secretary at our school read my book and told me she totally relates to my mother. When I told my mom that it did wonders for her. Now I'm just dreading my sister getting her copy since she's the one who bought me the tight fancy skirt and silk blouse that I complained about getting for Christmas. :-( P.S. To anybody who's going to Skymont this weekend. I'll have copies there. I'm thinking that if having a book for sale means you can deduct gas to rides on taxes maybe we should all write one!
