From time to time I see requests on this list for
information. My friend had her 5 horses shipped from California to Montana
last week by Triple 7 Horse Haulers out of Billings, Montana. It cost her
$1600 which I think is reasonable. They left California on Friday and were
supposed to arrive in Montana on Saturday. They called her and told her
that her old (30+) paso mare was sweating and shaking and very nervous.
They had decided to stop and unload every 2-4 hours and make sure she was
okay. They would arrive on Sunday.
She had worried about this mare because she had had her from birth
and was worried the trip was hard on her. However, she arrived safely and
happy as did the other horses.
