Things got really weird after the discovery of the photoelectric effect. 
Much of it is counter intuitive which is why mathematical precision is 
so important. It is getting even weirder today with the new theories 
that add 7 dimensions to the three spacial dimensions and time. However, 
for everything most people will ever encounter a basic understanding 
works just fine.

I've been stuck inside today on an absolutely gorgeous day working on a 
report. I'm fit to be tied ;-) and need every diversion I can get.
