[RC] Pawing injuries? - Sheila_LarsenI have heard of the trick of the hobble and chain, but the idea of a mat to paw on intrigues me (maybe with hobble and chain). Has anyone heard of a horse being injured from pawing while learning patience? That is what scares me about leaving them to paw. I never release my horse until she has stopped pawing but I will think more about how I may be encourage a superstitious behavior. FYI I bought Clint Anderson's dvd on hobble training and although I haven't done it yet it is a very good DVD. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
