Re: [RC] Horse confinement at rides.. - Betsy O'SheaI too started with NATRC so have always tied to the trailer and felt my horse was secure and safe. In the beginning, I tied my lead rope to a bicycle inner tube, so if the horse pulled back, they got a boing boing effect and this cured the pulling back. Then I used the "leader" stretchey lead rope. Now I have a hi-tie and my horse likes that better because he can look around and see whats going on. I have an electric fence coral kit, and have never used it. I would never put my horse in a portable coral panel system . I have been to vet teaching hospitals and seen horses with broken legs. They got them cought under the panels.JMO Betsy =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
