[RC] AERC Championship: To The Finish - John Teeter

Tom Sites just called. Stagg and John are out on the last 9 miles of trail - 
running neck and neck. Tom said it's down hill - it's slick - and it's dark. He 
recounted races over this stretch from the past - himself involved in some of 
them. Dangerous enough that the OD instituted a 1 mile from the finish vet 
check at one point for safety sake..

The finish is expected in 20 min or so. We've not data from gate 4 or gate 5; 
anyone who knows anyone at the finish line - give them a call and get a 
play-by-play!! It will be a horse race. The other comment Tom had -- "these two 
horses (Heraldic and Super) were the best two horses in the US today! They have 
run side by side for 91 miles and they both look fantastic. It will be hard to 
say that only one is the winner."

So, put out the calls to the finish line!! send back any news!!!
