Jen,

Basecamp was in a mountain meadow. The ride benefitted a cause called 
"Eaglemount" which, if I remember correctly is a kids ride-to-health kind of 
program.

The military set up a tent city, with a semi-truck shower facility, 3 meals 
a day available, and there was constant activity in basecamp. We camped out 
of camp a little ways on the Madison River. There were elk, moose and other 
wildlife around. I remember sitting on a horse named HighRider in the river 
after the ride for hydrotherapy. The year was 1992 or 93.

I remember the military cooking a MT wildlife dinner of Elk, Venison, Bear, 
and other wild meats in the dinner..

The remember alot of wind..lawn chairs blowing across the meadow..champagne 
at the finish, banners, alot of celebration! Naomi Tyler ?? rode Mustang 
Lady that year.
