Re: [RC] Eating the trailer - Diane TrefethenThis post got me wondering what Ridecampers with a lot of experience hauling a two-horse trailer favor - tie horses' heads with a quick release or leave them completely free. I always tie them in and of course the fact that the trailers come with a place to tie them certainly suggests that tying is preferred for some reason. Still, perhaps there are good reasons NOT to tie. What do you do and why?I need some suggestions for preventing my gelding from eating the padding in my trailer. I am about ready to get a muzzle! Food doesn't help. Lack of food doesn't help. I do not wish to tie his head up either. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
