Oops... I'm so embarassed.  I was so excited!
OK, well, the pieces are hopefully in place. 

In the meantime, I do know that if you are interested in
entering The Great Santa Fe Horse Ride, you can hold a
place for a small deposit.  If Sanctioning is granted, you
will be entered and then you pay the rest of the entry
fee.  If for some reason sanctioning is not granted, your
deposit will be refunded.  There will be a maximum number
of entries accepted. 

So, go think about entering anyway.

AND... it's pretty exciting that it's gotten this far given
where we started from.

The Great Santa Fe Trail Horse Ride is *NOT* sanctioned at this 
time and is still in the approval process.

Our software "glitched" last night and approved a ride that is 
still in the process of requesting sanctioning approval.

The Great Santa Fe Trail Horse Ride is still in the approval 
process and has additional steps before even reaching the BoD.

The notice is generated by software and should not have gone out 
last night. We are looking for the reasons why the s/w did this 
now.  It's happened a few times several years ago and we thought 
it was fixed.
