RE: [RC] [RC] Finding a Nice Guy - Lucinda Carpe

Dear Ridecampers
OK I hope I am not in trouble for failing to trim...Anyway...I have been enjoying this thread. Seriously...I have been married to my husband for 23 years...I had horses as a young woman and the fire was reawakened at 47. Probably I realized someday needed to be NOW. I went out and bought myself a little Arab gelding.
My husband is not horsey in the least. He does enjoy feeding treats and watching the now plural horses galavant around the property. He did consent to selling city home for country home. He recognized also that it was a better investment.
He is supportive when I run off to clinics and shows for entire wknd. days.
I don't mind having separate hobbies. He plays guitar and spends an entire day each week going to his lesson at quite a distance and having lunch with friends. It is all good.
I had forgotten all about what a JERK my ex husband was about my old horse at least until I read the threads about ruined marriages etc...My horse that I had then was not the cause but a symptom of all the other problems..Anyway...I was SO GONE!!!

I already have a perfect man - must be an escaped prototype! Comes with
every quality I could ask for - except the unlimited financial resources.
Also has some bonus features: "Babysit the kids so I can trail ride on a
perfect fall evening" lever and the "Ignore the dirty dishes in the sink
because I was too busy with my horses" button. My favorite feature: the "Wow
I'm proud of what you can do" message. :) It's nice to hear when you're
covered with sweat, tears, and horse boogers!

Now I"m off to bake some of his favorite cookies - my model does not require
batteries, but he does run off chocolate chip cookies, pie, and homemade
meat loaf... :)
